Join UT Austin University's Build & Brew Group

Build & Brew is NextWork's Campus Ambassador Program. Throughout the program, students learn AI, grow as leaders, and build a portfolio of hands-on projects.

At UT Austin, Issa leads a weekly group of 4-8 people at UT Austin where students explore AI and build meaningful projects together.

Group details:

  • When: Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM CST.
  • Where: In person at UT Austin at the Perry-Castañeda Library.
  • Format: A group of 4-8 students meets weekly throughout the semester.
  • Focus: AI fundamentals, emerging technologies, and project building.
  • Cost: Free.

Away from the screen

Outside class, Issa enjoys baking, painting, hiking, art, movies, and TV shows. She has a knack for remembering people's birthdays, although October puts that skill to the test.
