Build a Lead Gen Funnel for Drone Services

Build a live drone services landing page with pricing in ClickFunnels.

Introduction

30 Second Summary

Starting a drone service business is exciting, but the hardest part isn't flying. It's finding clients who actually want to pay for your services.

In this project, you will build a lead generation funnel for your drone service business using ClickFunnels. Your funnel will have a live landing page with pricing packages, a lead capture form, and a shareable link you can start promoting today.

What You'll Build

A complete lead generation funnel inside ClickFunnels with a landing page showcasing four drone service categories, a pricing table with tiered packages, and a thank you page that confirms quote requests.

By the end of this project, you'll have:

  • A live landing page with service descriptions, trust credentials, and a pricing table displaying your four drone service packages.
  • Market-rate pricing for real estate aerial photography, roof evaluations, construction mapping, and agricultural mapping based on 2026 industry data.
  • A lead capture form connected to a thank you page, with a shareable link you can post on social media or send to prospects immediately.
  • Secret Mission: Set up an automated email follow-up sequence that nurtures leads hands-free.

Do I need a ClickFunnels account already?

Yes. This project assumes you already have an active ClickFunnels trial account. If you haven't signed up yet, head to clickfunnels.com and start your 14-day free trial before continuing.

Define Your Services and Pricing

Before you open the ClickFunnels editor, you need to know exactly what you're selling and how much it costs. A visitor who lands on your page will decide in seconds whether you look professional and trustworthy.

In this step, you'll set market-rate pricing for all four of your drone services and write the headline, subheadline, and service descriptions that will go on your landing page. Having this ready in advance means you can build your funnel quickly in the next step without stopping to think about what to write.

In this step, get ready to:
  • Define three-tier pricing packages for Real Estate Aerial Photography.
  • Set starting rates for Roof Evaluations, Construction Mapping, and Agricultural Mapping.
  • Write your landing page headline, subheadline, trust credentials, and service descriptions.
Set your pricing for Real Estate Aerial Photography

Real Estate Aerial Photography will be your lead service because it has the highest volume of potential clients. You'll structure it as three tiered packages so clients can self-select based on their budget.

  • Open a notes app, Google Doc, or plain text file where you can save your pricing and copy for later.
  • Write down these three packages:
  • Basic Package ($199) : 10 edited aerial photos, 24-hour delivery, licensed for MLS/Zillow/social media.
  • Standard Package ($349) : 15 aerial photos + 60-second highlight video, 24-hour delivery, broad licensing.
  • Premium Package ($549) : 20 aerial photos + 2-minute cinematic video + twilight/golden hour session, 24-hour delivery, all licensing included.

Why three tiers instead of one flat rate?

Three-tier packages use the "decoy effect" in pricing psychology. Most clients will pick the Standard package because it looks like the best value compared to Basic and Premium.

This typically raises your average job value from $150-$200 to $300-$400. You'll highlight the Standard package visually on your landing page in Step 3 to reinforce this effect.

Set pricing for your other three services

Each of these services targets a different client type. You'll use "starting at" rates here since every project is unique and you'll provide custom quotes after leads come in.

  • Write down the following rates for each service:
  • Roof Evaluations : Starting at $150 per residential property (visual aerial assessment with photos and video, delivered same-day). Commercial/multi-building properties: $400-$800 depending on size.
  • Construction Progress Mapping : Starting at $300 per site visit (includes orthomosaic map + progress photos). Weekly recurring documentation: $250/visit with monthly contract.
  • Agricultural Mapping & Insurance Documentation : $8-$15 per acre for crop health/NDVI mapping. $10-$25 per acre for post-storm insurance documentation. Minimum job: $500.

Why "evaluation" and not "inspection"?

You are not certified as a roof inspector. Using "evaluation" or "assessment" language avoids liability issues while still communicating the service value.

Your deliverable is aerial photos and video that roofers, adjusters, or homeowners can use for their own assessment purposes.

Why a $500 minimum for agricultural jobs?

Farms under 50 acres eat into your margins because travel time and setup take the same effort regardless of field size. A $500 minimum ensures every ag job is worth the trip.

Write your headline and core copy

Your landing page needs one clear headline that spans all four services, a subheadline that sets expectations, and trust credentials that build credibility instantly.

  • Write the following headline in your notes:
Professional Drone Services For Your Business — Fast, Affordable, FAA Certified.
  • Below it, write this subheadline:
Aerial photography, property evaluations, construction mapping, and agricultural surveys. Get a custom quote in 24 hours.
  • Add your trust credentials line:
FAA Part 107 Certified | Fully Insured | 24-Hour Delivery

Why these three trust signals?

FAA Part 107 certification proves you're legally authorized to fly commercially. Insurance removes the client's risk concern. 24-hour delivery addresses the most common objection: "How long will this take?"

  • Now write a short description for each of your four services. These will appear on the landing page to explain what each service includes:
  • Real Estate Aerial Photography : "Stunning aerial photos and video that help agents sell listings faster. Packages from $199."
  • Roof Evaluations : "Safe, fast aerial property assessments without ladders or scaffolding. Starting at $150."
  • Construction Progress Mapping : "Orthomosaic site maps and aerial documentation for project tracking. Starting at $300/visit."
  • Agricultural Mapping & Insurance Documentation : "Crop health monitoring, NDVI mapping, and post-storm damage documentation. Starting at $8/acre."

Benefits over features

Notice how each description leads with what the client gets ("help agents sell listings faster", "without ladders or scaffolding") rather than what you do technically. Clients care about outcomes, not your equipment specs.

  • Review your notes to confirm you have all of the following written down: your three Real Estate packages with prices, starting rates for the other three services, headline, subheadline, trust credentials, and all four service descriptions.

✔️ I've got everything written down

Great. Save your notes somewhere you can easily copy from in the next step.

Your pricing strategy and landing page copy are locked in. Next up, you'll take all of this content and build it into a professional landing page inside ClickFunnels.

Build Your Landing Page in ClickFunnels

Your pricing and copy are ready to go. Now it's time to bring them to life inside ClickFunnels.

In this step, you'll create your funnel, choose a template, and build out the landing page that showcases your four drone services with professional copy. By the end, you'll have a page that looks like a real business website.

In this step, get ready to:
  • Create a new lead generation funnel in ClickFunnels.
  • Customize your landing page with headline, subheadline, trust credentials, and drone photos.
  • Add a services section with descriptions and starting prices for all four categories.
Create a new funnel

A funnel in ClickFunnels is a set of connected pages that guide visitors toward a single action. Your funnel will have two pages: a landing page (where visitors learn about your services) and a thank you page (where they land after submitting their info).

  • From your ClickFunnels dashboard, click + Build a New Funnel.
  • Select Collect Emails as your funnel goal.
  • In the Name Your Funnel field, type Drone Services Lead Funnel.
  • Click Build Funnel.

What just happened?

ClickFunnels created a funnel with two default steps: an opt-in page (your landing page) and a thank you page. You can see both listed in the funnel overview on the left side of your screen.

The "Collect Emails" goal tells ClickFunnels to optimize your funnel for capturing contact information rather than selling a product directly. This is exactly what you need for a service business where customers request quotes.

  • Confirm you can see two steps listed in your funnel overview: an opt-in page and a thank you page.

Don't see the Build a New Funnel button?

Look for the Quick Links section on your dashboard. You can also hover over the ClickFunnels menu at the top and click Funnels, then look for the Build a New Funnel button on that page.

Help me find the Build a New Funnel button on my ClickFunnels dashboard.

Customize your landing page hero section

Your landing page is the first thing potential clients see. The hero section at the top needs to immediately communicate what you do, why they should trust you, and what their next step is.

  • In your funnel overview, click on the first step (the opt-in/landing page).
  • Browse the available templates and pick a clean, professional layout.
  • Click Edit Page to open the drag-and-drop editor.

What is the drag-and-drop editor?

ClickFunnels' page editor lets you click on any element (headline, image, button) and change it directly. You can drag elements to rearrange them and add new sections, rows, and elements without writing any code.

Now replace the template content with your drone services copy:

  • Click on the template's headline text and replace it with: "Professional Drone Services For Your Business - Fast, Affordable, FAA Certified."
  • Click on the subheadline and replace it with: "Aerial photography, property evaluations, construction mapping, and agricultural surveys. Get a custom quote in 24 hours."
  • Add a text element near the top of the page with your trust credentials: "FAA Part 107 Certified | Fully Insured | 24-Hour Delivery."
  • Upload 1-3 of your best drone photos (or use placeholder stock drone images if you are just starting out).

Use your best aerial shot as the hero image

If you have a real estate aerial photo, a dramatic landscape, or a construction site shot, use it as your main hero image. First impressions matter. If you don't have portfolio images yet, search for royalty-free drone photography on Unsplash or Pexels.

  • Check that your headline, subheadline, trust credentials, and at least one photo are all visible in the editor preview.

Text not changing when you click on it?

Make sure you are double-clicking the text element to enter edit mode. A single click selects the element. A double-click lets you type inside it. If the element still won't let you edit, try clicking the small pencil or edit icon that appears when you hover over it.

Help me edit text on my ClickFunnels landing page.

Add your services section

Below the hero area, you need a dedicated section that shows visitors exactly what services you offer. Each service gets a brief description and a starting price so potential clients can quickly determine if you are a fit for their needs.

  • Scroll below the hero section in the editor.
  • Add a new section by clicking the + Add New Section option (or the "+" button between sections).
  • Inside the new section, create a row or set of text blocks for your four service categories.

For each service, add a heading with the service name and a short description below it:

  • Service 1 heading: Real Estate Aerial Photography. Description: "Stunning aerial photos and video that help agents sell listings faster. Packages from $199."
  • Service 2 heading: Roof Evaluations. Description: "Safe, fast aerial property assessments without ladders or scaffolding. Starting at $150."
  • Service 3 heading: Construction Progress Mapping. Description: "Orthomosaic site maps and aerial documentation for project tracking. Starting at $300/visit."
  • Service 4 heading: Agricultural Mapping & Insurance Documentation. Description: "Crop health monitoring, NDVI mapping, and post-storm damage documentation. Starting at $8/acre."

Why include starting prices on the landing page?

Showing prices upfront pre-qualifies your leads. People who fill out your form already know your price range, so you spend less time on calls with prospects who can't afford your services. It also builds trust because you're being transparent.

  • Review the full page in the editor. You should see your hero section (headline, subheadline, trust credentials, drone photo) followed by a services section listing all four categories with descriptions and starting prices.
  • Save your page by clicking the Save button in the top right of the editor.

Services section looks cramped or misaligned?

Try using a two-column or four-column row layout inside your section. Click on the row settings (gear icon) to adjust column widths. Each service should have roughly equal space. If text is overlapping, reduce the font size or add padding between rows.

Help me fix the layout of my services section in ClickFunnels.

Your landing page has a strong foundation with professional copy, trust credentials, and clear service offerings. Next up, you'll add a pricing table for your Real Estate packages and a lead capture form that turns visitors into actual leads.

Add Your Pricing Table and Lead Capture Form

Your landing page already introduces your services and builds trust. Now you need to show visitors exactly what they get and how much it costs.

In this step, you'll add a professional pricing table for your Real Estate packages, list your other services with starting rates, and add a lead capture form that turns visitors into real leads you can follow up with.

In this step, get ready to:
  • Add a Pricing Table element with your three Real Estate photography packages.
  • Add a summary section for your other three services with starting rates.
  • Add a lead capture form with a clear call-to-action button.
Add the Pricing Table element for Real Estate packages

Your Real Estate Aerial Photography service is your lead offering because it has the most volume. A three-tier pricing table uses the decoy effect to guide most clients toward the Standard package. This typically raises your average job value from $150-$200 to $300-$400.

  • In the page editor, click below your services section to position your cursor there.
  • Click Add New Element from within a row (or click the + below an existing element).
  • Find and select Pricing Table from the Content Blocks list.

What is the Pricing Table element?

The Pricing Table is a native ClickFunnels element designed specifically for comparing packages and price points side by side. It handles the visual layout for you so each column looks consistent and professional.

Now configure three columns for your Real Estate packages.

  • Set up your first column as the Basic Package at $199.
  • Add these details to the Basic column: 10 edited aerial photos, 24-hour delivery, licensed for MLS/Zillow/social media.
  • Set up your second column as the Standard Package at $349.
  • Add these details to the Standard column: 15 aerial photos + 60-second highlight video, 24-hour delivery, broad licensing.
  • Set up your third column as the Premium Package at $549.
  • Add these details to the Premium column: 20 aerial photos + 2-minute cinematic video + twilight/golden hour session, 24-hour delivery, all licensing included.

Now make the Standard package stand out visually so it draws the most attention.

  • Click on the Standard column to select it.
  • Give it a different background color or add a "Most Popular" label to visually highlight it.
  • Set each pricing table column's button to scroll down to your lead capture form (you'll add the form in the next substep).

Why highlight the Standard package?

This is the decoy effect in action. When three options are presented, most people pick the middle one because it feels like the best value compared to the cheapest and most expensive choices.

Visually highlighting it reinforces that it's the "recommended" pick. This single design choice can push your average job value from around $200 to $300-$400.

Add a simple pricing summary for your other services

Your other three services don't need full pricing tables. A clean text summary with "starting at" rates gives visitors enough information to request a quote without overwhelming them.

  • Below the Real Estate pricing table, add a new text section.
  • Add this line: "Roof Evaluations: from $150/property".
  • Add this line: "Construction Mapping: from $300/visit".
  • Add this line: "Ag Mapping & Insurance: from $8/acre ($500 min)".
  • Below the rates, add this closing line: "Every project is unique. Request a free custom quote below and I'll get back to you within 24 hours."

Keep it scannable

Visitors skim pricing pages. A short list with clear "from" prices tells them whether they're in the right ballpark without needing paragraphs of explanation. The goal is to get them curious enough to fill out the form below.

Add your lead capture form

The pricing section builds interest. Now you need to give visitors a clear next step to take action. Your lead capture form is where visitors convert from browsers into actual leads you can follow up with.

  • Below the pricing summary section, add a new form element.
  • Add a Name field.
  • Add an Email field.
  • Add a Phone Number field.
  • Add a dropdown field labeled "What service are you interested in?" with these options: Real Estate Photography, Roof Evaluation, Construction Mapping, Agricultural Mapping, Other/Multiple.

Now set up your call-to-action button and finalize the page.

  • Set your form's submit button text to Get My Custom Quote.
  • Give the button a bold, contrasting color so it stands out from the rest of the page.
  • Remove all navigation links from the page (header menu, footer links).
  • Click the mobile preview option to check that everything is readable on phones.
  • Save your page.

Why remove navigation links?

A lead generation page has one job: get the visitor to fill out the form. Navigation links give people an escape route to wander off to other pages. Removing them keeps attention focused on the single action you want visitors to take.

Form not showing on mobile preview?

Some elements may need their mobile visibility toggled on. Check that the form section isn't hidden on mobile devices. Also make sure the pricing table columns stack vertically on smaller screens rather than overflowing off the page.

Help me fix my ClickFunnels form not appearing on mobile preview.

Your landing page is now complete with pricing that pre-qualifies leads and a form that makes it easy for them to reach out. Next up, you'll build the thank you page and take your funnel live.

Build Your Thank You Page and Go Live

Your landing page is built, your pricing is set, and your lead capture form is ready to collect inquiries.

Now it's time to finish the experience your leads will see after they submit their info. A strong thank you page sets expectations, builds trust, and gives them a reason to stay engaged while they wait for your quote.

In this step, get ready to:
  • Customize your thank you page with a confirmation message and your best work.
  • Preview and test the full funnel to make sure leads are captured correctly.
  • Go live and share your funnel link to start attracting leads today.
Customize your thank you page

When someone fills out your form, they need instant confirmation that their request went through. Your thank you page does double duty: it reassures the lead and showcases your work.

  • Return to your funnel overview by clicking on your funnel name at the top of the editor.
  • Click on the second funnel step (the Thank You page) in the left sidebar.
  • Click Edit Page to open the drag-and-drop editor.
  • Select the default headline text on the template and replace it with your confirmation message.
  • Type the following as your main text:
Thanks! I'll review your request and get back to you within 24 hours with a custom quote tailored to your project. In the meantime, here's some of my recent work.

Why set a 24-hour expectation?

Giving a specific timeframe (24 hours) makes leads feel confident you're responsive. It also gives you a clear deadline to follow up, so no lead falls through the cracks.

  • Below the confirmation text, add an image or video element.
  • Upload 1-2 of your best drone photos or videos to showcase your work.
  • Below your portfolio images, add a text element with your phone number for urgent projects.
  • Type something like: "For urgent projects, call me directly at your phone number."
  • Click Save in the top right corner of the editor.

Use your best work upfront

Pick drone shots that match the services your leads are most likely requesting. A stunning aerial real estate photo will resonate more with agents than a random landscape shot.

Preview, test, and launch your funnel

Before sharing your funnel publicly, you need to verify the full flow works end to end. In ClickFunnels, funnels are live as soon as the first page is created. Testing confirms that every piece connects properly.

  • Return to your funnel overview.
  • Right-click the preview icon next to your landing page URL and open it in a new incognito window.

Why test in an incognito window?

Incognito mode prevents caching issues. ClickFunnels will recognize you as a completely new visitor, which simulates what a real lead will experience.

  • Fill out the lead capture form with test information.
  • Use a unique email address for testing (for example, add +test1 before the @ in your email, like yourname+test1@gmail.com).
  • Select any service from the dropdown and click Get My Custom Quote.
  • Confirm that the thank you page appears after form submission with your custom message and drone photos.
  • Go back to your funnel overview and click the Contacts tab.
  • Verify your test lead appears in the contacts list with the email and details you entered.

Test lead not showing up in Contacts?

Make sure you used a unique email address. ClickFunnels needs a unique email to register a new contact for each test.

Also check that your form's submit action is connected to the thank you page step. In your funnel overview, make sure the arrow flows from your landing page to your thank you page.

Why isn't my test lead showing up in ClickFunnels Contacts?

  • Open the funnel URL on your phone to confirm the page looks good on mobile.
  • Check that the form is tappable, the text is readable, and images load correctly on a smaller screen.

Once all three checks pass (form submits, thank you page appears, lead shows in Contacts), your funnel is verified and live.

Where is my live funnel URL?

Your funnel URL follows the format yourname.myclickfunnels.com/your-funnel-path. You can find and copy it from the funnel overview page, or by clicking the three dots (Actions menu) next to your funnel on the Funnels page and selecting Funnel URL.

Share your funnel link immediately

Your funnel is live, but it won't generate leads unless people actually see it. The goal right now is to drive traffic today so you can test whether real inquiries come in during your trial period.

  • Copy your funnel URL from the funnel overview page.
  • Post your link on Facebook with a short intro about your drone services and a call-to-action.
  • Share the same link on Instagram (in your bio or a story) and LinkedIn.
  • Send the link directly to 5-10 people in your network who might need drone services: real estate agents, roofers, general contractors, and local farmers.
  • Add the link to your Google Business profile if you have one.

Personalize your direct messages

When sending the link directly to contacts, reference something specific to their business. For example: "Hey [name], I just launched drone photography packages for real estate listings. Thought of you since you mentioned wanting better listing photos. Here's my pricing page."

A personal message gets far more responses than a generic blast.

Why share now instead of perfecting the page?

Your 14-day trial is running. Getting real traffic quickly tells you whether your pricing and messaging resonate with actual prospects. You can always tweak the page based on how people respond.

Secret mission

Set Up Automated Email Follow-Up

Your funnel captures leads, but what happens after someone fills out the form? Right now, nothing. Set up an automated email sequence that nurtures leads while you sleep, so prospects stay warm until you send their custom quote.
