Integrate Gangify into WooCommerce
Embed a DTF gang sheet builder into a WooCommerce + Elementor store.
Introduction
30 Second Summary
Running a custom printing business means collecting design files from customers, manually arranging layouts, and tracking payments over email. That adds up to hours of extra work for every batch of orders.
In this project, you will integrate the Gangify gang sheet builder into a WooCommerce store built with Elementor. Your client's customers will be able to upload their DTF artwork, arrange designs on a gang sheet, and place orders directly through the site.
What You'll Build
You will install the Gangify WordPress plugin, create a WooCommerce product for gang sheet orders, and design the product page using Elementor.
By the end of this project, you'll have:
- A Gangify plugin installed, activated, and connected to your client's account.
- A WooCommerce product page with the gang sheet builder embedded for customers to upload artwork and place orders.
- A tested end-to-end flow from artwork upload through checkout and order sync with Gangify.
- A second gang sheet product with different sizing and pricing tiers to stretch your skills further.
Are there any prerequisites?
You need a live WordPress site with WooCommerce and Elementor already installed. You also need admin access to the WordPress dashboard and the Gangify plugin .zip file from your client's APAS or SuperGamut account.
Verify Your WordPress Environment
Installing a new plugin on a live WordPress site requires that your existing software is compatible. Mismatched versions between WordPress, WooCommerce, and Elementor are one of the most common causes of plugin failures.
In this step, you will confirm that everything is up to date and working. You will also create a safety net so you can roll back if anything goes wrong during the Gangify installation.
In this step, get ready to:
- Confirm WordPress, WooCommerce, and Elementor are running compatible versions.
- Verify WooCommerce has no critical issues on its System Status page.
- Create a full site backup as a restore point.
Check WordPress, WooCommerce, and Elementor versions
Your WordPress admin dashboard is home base for every change you make to the site. Before installing anything new, you need to check that the core platform and existing plugins are current.
- Open your browser and navigate to yourdomain.com/wp-admin (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain).
- Log in with your WordPress admin credentials.
- In the left sidebar, click Dashboard.
- Click Updates.
This page shows whether your WordPress core version is up to date. If a WordPress update is available, click Update to version... and wait for it to complete before continuing.
- In the left sidebar, click Plugins.
- Click Installed Plugins.
- Find WooCommerce in the plugin list and check the version number displayed beneath it.
- Find Elementor in the plugin list and check its version number.
What versions should I see?
The latest stable WooCommerce version is 10.7.0. Elementor should show version 4.1.0 or later.
If either plugin shows a lower version number and an update is available, click Update Now next to it. Always update WooCommerce before updating other plugins to avoid dependency conflicts.
Can't access your admin dashboard?
- Double-check that you are navigating to /wp-admin (not /admin or /login).
- Make sure you are using an account with administrator-level access. Editor or contributor accounts cannot manage plugins.
- If you have lost your password, click Lost your password? on the login screen to reset it.

Verify WooCommerce is active and configured
WooCommerce has a built-in health check page that surfaces problems before they cause issues. Checking it now saves you from debugging mysterious errors later.
- In the left sidebar, click WooCommerce.
- Click Status.
- Click the System Status tab at the top of the page.
This page lists technical details about your server, WordPress configuration, and WooCommerce settings. Look for any red or orange warning indicators.
- Scroll to the WordPress Environment section and confirm there are no critical issues.
- Scroll to the Server Environment section and check the PHP version field.
- Confirm WooCommerce shows as active with no database update needed.
- Check that the Theme section shows your theme as compatible with WooCommerce.
What PHP version do I need?
PHP is the programming language that WordPress runs on. WooCommerce requires PHP 7.4 or higher, but version 8.0 or above is recommended. If your server is running an older version, contact your hosting provider to upgrade it.
Pro tip: database update banner
If you see a banner at the top of the page saying "WooCommerce database update required," click the Update button and let it finish before proceeding. Skipping this can cause compatibility issues with new plugins.
Seeing red warnings on System Status?
- Red items in the Server Environment section (like memory limits or max execution time) usually need your hosting provider to fix. Note the specific warning text before contacting them.
- Red items in the WordPress Environment section often mean a pending update. Go back to Dashboard and then Updates and install any available updates.
- Orange warnings are usually non-critical but worth noting. They will not block your Gangify installation.
Need help resolving a specific warning? Help me understand what this WooCommerce System Status warning means.
Create a backup before making changes
A backup captures your entire site at this moment. If anything goes wrong during the Gangify plugin installation, you can restore everything to exactly how it is right now.
- In the left sidebar, click Plugins.
- Click Add New Plugin.
- Type UpdraftPlus in the search field in the top right.
- Find UpdraftPlus in the search results and click Install Now.
- After installation finishes, click Activate.
Pro tip: already have a backup plugin?
If your site already has a backup plugin installed (such as BlogVault, Jetpack Backup, or All-in-One WP Migration), you can skip installing UpdraftPlus and use your existing tool instead. The important thing is that you have a restore point before making changes.
Now create the backup.
- In the left sidebar, click Settings.
- Click UpdraftPlus Backups.
- Click the large Backup Now button.
- In the popup that appears, make sure both Include your database in the backup and Include your files in the backup are checked.
- Click Backup Now again to start the process.
- Wait for the progress bar to complete. You should see a success message and a new backup entry in the Existing backups list below.
What does this backup include?
The database backup captures your WooCommerce products, orders, settings, and all WordPress content. The files backup captures your theme files, plugin files, and uploaded media. Together, they let you restore your site to this exact state.
Backup not completing?
- Large sites can take several minutes to back up. If the progress bar stalls, try refreshing the page and checking the Existing backups section to see if it completed in the background.
- Some hosting providers limit PHP execution time, which can interrupt long backups. If the backup fails repeatedly, try unchecking the file backup and running a database-only backup first.
Still having trouble? Help me troubleshoot my UpdraftPlus backup.
Your environment is verified and your safety net is in place. Next up, you will upload and activate the Gangify plugin itself.
Install and Activate the Gangify Plugin
Your WordPress environment is verified and backed up. Now it is time to install the plugin that powers the gang sheet builder.
Gangify comes as a .zip file from your client, not from the WordPress plugin directory. The upload process is the same one used for any premium or third-party WordPress plugin.
In this step, get ready to:
- Upload the Gangify plugin .zip file to WordPress.
- Activate the plugin and confirm it appears in your plugin list.
- Locate the Gangify settings panel in the admin sidebar.
Upload the plugin .zip file
WordPress lets you install plugins by uploading a .zip file directly through the admin dashboard. This is how you install any plugin that is not listed in the public WordPress plugin directory.
- Go to Plugins in the WordPress admin sidebar.
- Click Add New Plugin.
- Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page.
- Click Choose File and select the Gangify .zip file your client provided.
- Click Install Now.
WordPress uploads and extracts the plugin files. You should see a "Plugin installed successfully" message on the screen.
Not seeing the success message?
- Make sure the file you selected is a .zip file, not an extracted folder. WordPress only accepts compressed .zip archives.
- Check that your WordPress user account has administrator privileges. Only admins can install plugins.
- If you see a "file exceeds the upload_max_filesize" error, your hosting provider may limit file upload sizes. Contact them to increase the limit.
- Why can't I upload my plugin .zip file to WordPress?
Activate the plugin
Installing a plugin copies its files to your server, but WordPress does not run it until you activate it. Activation tells WordPress to load the plugin on every page.
- Click Activate Plugin on the success screen.
WordPress redirects you to the Installed Plugins page. Gangify should now appear in the list with a blue left border, which means it is active.
- Confirm Gangify appears in the list at Plugins, then Installed Plugins.
- Look at the WordPress admin sidebar for a new menu item. It may be labeled Gangify or nested under WooCommerce.
Plugin won't activate?
- Check that your PHP version is 8.0 or higher. You can verify this at WooCommerce > Status > System Status under Server Environment. The minimum supported version is 7.4.
- If you see a "Plugin could not be activated" error, your server may be missing a required PHP extension. Contact your hosting provider for help.
- Make sure you do not have another gang sheet builder plugin active. Two plugins that serve the same purpose can conflict with each other.
- Why won't my Gangify plugin activate in WordPress?
Locate the Gangify settings panel
Before configuring anything, take a moment to find and explore the Gangify settings. This is where you will connect the client's account and set up the builder in the next step.
- Click on the Gangify menu item in the WordPress admin sidebar to open its settings page.
- If you do not see a Gangify menu item, look under WooCommerce in the sidebar for a submenu labeled Gangify or Gang Sheet Settings.
- Browse through the settings tabs or sections available on the page.
What should I see in the settings panel?
The exact layout of the Gangify settings panel may vary depending on your plugin version. Common sections in gang sheet builder plugins include:
- Account/API Connection for entering API keys or credentials to link your Gangify account.
- Product Settings for configuring sizing options, pricing, and sheet dimensions.
- Builder Settings for controlling what customers see in the gang sheet designer.
- Appearance/Display for customizing the builder to match your store's branding.
Your plugin's labels and layout may differ from these descriptions. If you see an onboarding wizard or setup guide, follow it. It will walk you through the initial configuration automatically.
Pro tip: reach out to Gangify support
Gangify offers collaborative onboarding, meaning their team can walk you through the settings live. If anything in the settings panel is unclear, contact them at info@supergamut.com or call 309-328-8767.
The plugin is installed, activated, and you have found its settings panel. Next up, you will connect it to your client's Gangify account and configure the gang sheet sizing and pricing options.
Configure Gangify and Connect the Client's Account
The Gangify plugin is installed and activated on your WordPress site. Now it's time to connect it to your client's account.
Without this connection, the plugin has no way to pull in your client's sizing options or pricing. In this step, you'll enter the account credentials and configure the core settings that power the gang sheet builder.
In this step, get ready to:
- Connect the Gangify plugin to the client's account.
- Configure gang sheet sizes and pricing.
- Set up the builder display options for customers.
Enter the API key or account credentials
The Gangify plugin connects to your client's account through an API key. This key tells the plugin which Gangify account to sync with for orders, sizing, and pricing.
- In the Gangify settings panel, look for a field labeled API Key, Access Token, or Account Key.
- Your client can find this key in their Gangify dashboard at app.gangify.com or through their APAS account portal.
- Paste the key into the field and click Save.
You should see a confirmation message or a Connected status indicator after saving.
What if my plugin uses a different connection method?
Some versions of the Gangify plugin may ask you to log into your Gangify account directly from the settings page instead of pasting an API key. If you see a login prompt, follow the on-screen instructions. The goal is the same: a confirmed connection between the plugin and your client's account.
What if my settings panel looks different?
The exact labels and layout of the Gangify settings panel may differ from what is described here. Gangify's documentation for WordPress is limited, but they offer collaborative onboarding with hands-on support.
If anything looks unfamiliar, contact their team at info@supergamut.com or call 309-328-8767. They can walk you through the setup for your specific plugin version.
Not seeing a Connected status?
- Double-check that you copied the full API key with no extra spaces at the beginning or end.
- Make sure your client's Gangify subscription is active through their APAS account.
- Check that your site's PHP version is 8.0 or higher at WooCommerce > Status > System Status under Server Environment.
- Help me troubleshoot my Gangify API connection
Configure sheet sizes and pricing
The product settings section controls what gang sheet sizes and prices customers see in the builder. Your client should provide the specific sizes and pricing they want to offer.
- In the Gangify settings panel, find the section for product settings or sizing options.
- Add the gang sheet sizes your client wants to offer.
- For each size, enter the corresponding price from your client's pricing structure.
- Click Save when finished.
What are common DTF gang sheet sizes?
If your client hasn't specified exact sizes, these are the industry-standard DTF gang sheet dimensions:
- 22" x 24" (standard).
- 22" x 48".
- 22" x 72".
- 22" x 96".
- Custom or rolling sizes (if supported by your client's setup).
Pro tip: match prices with the Gangify account
The prices you set here should match what the client has configured in their Gangify account. Mismatched pricing can cause confusion when WooCommerce cart totals don't align with Gangify's records. Confirm the pricing with your client before saving.
Configure builder display options
The builder settings control what customers see and interact with when they design their gang sheet. These options determine the file types they can upload, quality checks that run on their images, and preview features.
- In the Gangify settings panel, find the builder or display settings section.
- Confirm that all supported file formats are enabled: PNG, JPEG, SVG, and PDF.
- Enable the DPI quality check if available. This flags low-resolution images before customers complete their order.
- Enable one-click background removal if your client wants to offer this feature to customers.
- Enable the gang sheet preview so customers can see their layout before adding to cart.
- Click Save to apply all your changes.
What do these display options do?
- DPI quality check prevents customers from submitting artwork that would print blurry. Gangify checks the resolution of each uploaded file and warns the customer if it's too low.
- Background removal lets customers remove the background from an image in one click, right inside the builder. This saves them from needing separate editing software.
- Gang sheet preview shows customers exactly how their designs will be arranged on the sheet before they place the order. This reduces support requests from confused customers.
Settings not saving?
- Make sure you scroll to the bottom of the settings page and click Save. Some settings panels have a save button that is not visible without scrolling.
- Check that your API connection from the previous substep is still showing a connected status. Some settings require an active connection before they can be saved.
- Help me figure out why my Gangify settings are not saving
Your Gangify plugin is now connected and fully configured. Next, you'll create the WooCommerce product that ties everything together and gives customers a page to build their gang sheets.
Create a Gang Sheet Product in WooCommerce
Your Gangify plugin is connected and configured. Now you need to create the product that customers actually interact with when they order gang sheets.
In WooCommerce, everything a customer can buy is represented as a product. This product is what connects WooCommerce's cart and checkout to the Gangify builder so the whole ordering process flows seamlessly.
In this step, get ready to:
- Create a new WooCommerce product for gang sheet orders.
- Configure the product data and connect it to the Gangify builder.
- Set a product image and publish the product.
Add a new product
- In the WordPress admin sidebar, click Products.
- Click Add New.
The product editor opens with several fields to fill in.
- In the Product name field at the top, enter a clear name such as Custom DTF Gang Sheet or Build Your Gang Sheet.
- In the large text editor below the title, enter a product description explaining what customers will receive. A good description covers the upload process, gang sheet layout, and printing workflow.
- Scroll down to the Short description field and enter a brief summary for product listings.
Pro tip: sample description text
For the full description, try something like: "Upload your designs, arrange them on a gang sheet, and we will print and ship your custom DTF transfers. Use our gang sheet builder to layout your artwork exactly how you want it."
For the short description, try: "Create custom DTF gang sheets with our easy-to-use builder." Customize both to match your client's brand voice.
Configure the product data
The Product data section below the text editor controls how WooCommerce handles pricing, shipping, and product behavior. This is also where the Gangify plugin hooks in to connect the builder to this product.
- Scroll down to the Product data section.
- Click the product type dropdown at the top-left of this section.
- Look for a Gangify-specific product type in the dropdown, such as "Gangify Product" or "Gang Sheet."
- If you see a Gangify-specific type, select it.
- If no Gangify product type appears, select Simple product.
Why might I not see a Gangify product type?
Some WordPress plugins add their own product types to WooCommerce, while others work by adding extra settings tabs to existing product types. The Gangify plugin may do either. If you do not see a custom product type, using Simple product works perfectly. Just look for a Gangify tab in the product data panel instead.
If you selected Simple product, configure these settings:
- In the Regular price field, enter a base price. If pricing is handled entirely through the Gangify builder's size-based options, you can leave this blank.
- Check the Virtual checkbox.
- Set Tax status according to your client's tax requirements.
Why check the Virtual box?
Checking Virtual tells WooCommerce not to calculate shipping for this product. The gang sheet itself is not a physical product shipped through WooCommerce. Fulfillment happens through the DTF print workflow managed by Gangify.
Now connect this product to the Gangify builder.
- Look for a Gangify tab or section within the Product data panel.
- Click the Gangify tab to open it.
- Enable the gang sheet builder for this product by checking or toggling the activation option.
Don't see a Gangify tab or section?
If there is no Gangify tab in the product data panel, the plugin may connect to products through a different method. Check the Gangify settings page in the admin sidebar for a product assignment or product linking option.
If you are still stuck, contact Gangify support at info@supergamut.com or call 309-328-8767. They offer hands-on onboarding and can walk you through connecting the product. Help me connect my WooCommerce product to the Gangify builder.
Set a product image and publish
A product image helps customers understand what they are ordering before they interact with the builder. It also makes your product listing look professional in the shop catalog.
- In the right sidebar of the product editor, find the Product image panel.
- Click Set product image.
- Upload an image that represents the gang sheet service. This could be a sample gang sheet layout, the client's branding, or a graphic showing the upload-to-print workflow.
Before publishing, make sure customers can find this product in the store.
- In the right sidebar, find the Catalog visibility setting under Publish.
- Set it to Shop and search results so customers can find the product through browsing and searching.
- Click Publish to make the product live.
After publishing, note the product page URL displayed below the Product name field. You will use this URL to verify the builder appears correctly in the next step.
Product not publishing?
If the Publish button is grayed out, make sure you have entered a product name. WooCommerce requires at least a title to publish.
If you see a warning about missing pricing, go back to the Product data section and enter a value in the Regular price field, even if Gangify handles the final pricing. Help me troubleshoot publishing my WooCommerce gang sheet product.
Your gang sheet product is live in WooCommerce. Next, you will use Elementor to design the product page layout and make sure the Gangify builder displays perfectly for customers.
Design the Product Page with Elementor
Your gang sheet product is live in WooCommerce. Now it is time to design the product page so the Gangify builder is front and center for customers.
Elementor gives you drag-and-drop control over how the product page looks. Without thoughtful placement, customers might miss the builder entirely or struggle with a cluttered page.
In this step, get ready to:
- Open the product page in the Elementor editor.
- Place the Gangify gang sheet builder on the page.
- Adjust the styling for desktop and mobile devices.
Open the product page in Elementor
Elementor edits pages visually, but it needs to be told which post types it can edit. Product pages are a WordPress post type managed by WooCommerce, so you may need to enable Elementor for products first.
- Go to Products > All Products in the WordPress admin sidebar.
- Click on the name of the gang sheet product you created in the previous step.
- Click Edit with Elementor at the top of the page.
The Elementor visual editor opens with your product page loaded. You should see the product title, price, and content area ready for editing.
Don't see the Edit with Elementor button?
Elementor may not be enabled for WooCommerce product pages by default. Follow these steps to turn it on:
- Go to Elementor > Settings > General in the admin sidebar.
- Under Post Types, make sure Products is checked.
- Click Save Changes and return to the product page.
- Refresh the page. The Edit with Elementor button should now appear.
Still stuck? Ask for help here.
Arrange the page layout
The Gangify builder needs a visible spot on your product page. Depending on how the plugin integrates with Elementor, you will either drag a dedicated widget onto the page or embed a shortcode.
- In the Elementor editor, open the widget panel by clicking the grid icon in the top-left corner.
- Search for Gangify in the widget search bar.
- If a Gangify widget appears, drag it onto your page below the product title and price.
If no Gangify widget appears in the panel, you can use a shortcode instead. Shortcodes are small text snippets that WordPress converts into interactive content.
- Search for Shortcode in the Elementor widget panel.
- Drag the Shortcode widget onto your page below the product title and price.
- Paste the Gangify shortcode into the widget's content field.
Where do I find the Gangify shortcode?
The exact shortcode depends on your Gangify plugin version. Check the Gangify settings panel in your WordPress admin sidebar for a shortcode reference. Common patterns include [gangify] or [gangify_builder].
If the plugin has an onboarding wizard or documentation bundled with it, the shortcode will be listed there. If you cannot find it, contact Gangify support at info@supergamut.com or call 309-328-8767.
Position the builder prominently on the page. Customers should see it without needing to scroll past a wall of content.
Pro tip: check the live preview
The Gangify builder may not render a full preview inside the Elementor editor. You might see a placeholder or blank area instead. This is normal for third-party interactive widgets. You will see the actual builder when you preview or publish the page.
Adjust styling and save
The builder is placed, but it needs to fit your client's site design. Elementor's styling controls let you fine-tune spacing and check how the page looks across screen sizes.
- Click on the section or widget containing the Gangify builder.
- In the Advanced tab of the widget settings panel, set appropriate padding and margins so the builder does not feel cramped against surrounding content.
- Make sure the builder container width works at full width or within the page content area. A wider layout gives customers more room to arrange their artwork.
Next, check how the page looks on smaller screens.
- Click the responsive mode icon in the bottom-left corner of the Elementor editor.
- Switch between Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile views to confirm the layout looks good at each size.
- Adjust spacing or section widths for any screen size where the content looks off.
Once you are happy with the layout across all screen sizes, save your work.
- Click Publish (or Update if the page was already published) to save your changes.
Open the product page URL in a new browser tab to see the customer-facing view. You should see your product title, description, and the Gangify builder area on the page.
Builder not showing on the published page?
- Make sure you clicked Publish or Update in Elementor. Unsaved changes will not appear on the live page.
- If you used a shortcode, double-check that you pasted it exactly as shown in the Gangify settings. A missing bracket or typo will prevent it from rendering.
- Clear any caching plugins (like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache) and refresh the page.
- Verify the Gangify plugin is still activated at Plugins > Installed Plugins.

Your product page is designed and the gang sheet builder is in position. Next up, you will test the full customer flow from artwork upload through checkout.
Test the Full Customer Flow
Your product page is live and styled with Elementor. Now it's time to walk through the entire ordering experience exactly as a customer would.
Testing end to end catches broken links, missing builder elements, and sync issues before real customers encounter them. You'll verify that the Gangify builder, WooCommerce cart, and order sync all work together.
In this step, get ready to:
- Test the gang sheet builder by uploading artwork and verifying the layout tools.
- Complete a test order through the WooCommerce checkout.
- Verify the order syncs to the Gangify dashboard.
Test the gang sheet builder
Opening the product page in a private browser window shows you exactly what customers see. Admin toolbars and cached data can hide issues that real visitors would encounter.
- Open a new incognito or private browser window by pressing Cmd+Shift+N (macOS) or Ctrl+Shift+N (Windows).
- Navigate to your product page URL that you noted when you published the product.
You should see the product title and description alongside the Gangify gang sheet builder. The builder displays artwork upload options, gang sheet size selection, and a layout preview area.
- Confirm the builder shows options to upload files in PNG, JPEG, SVG, and PDF formats.
- Upload a test image in PNG or JPEG format.
- Arrange the image on the gang sheet using the builder's drag-and-drop tools.
- Verify that the auto-layout and nesting features position your artwork correctly on the sheet.
- Upload a low-resolution image intentionally to check whether the DPI quality detection flags it.
Builder not showing up on the page?
- Go back to the Elementor editor and confirm the Gangify widget or shortcode is placed on the page and saved.
- Clear your browser cache and reload the page.
- Check that the Gangify plugin is still activated at Plugins > Installed Plugins.
- Verify the gang sheet builder is enabled for this specific product in the product's Gangify settings tab.
- Help me troubleshoot why the Gangify gang sheet builder is not appearing on my WooCommerce product page
Test add to cart and checkout
A working builder is only half the flow. The order also needs to reach WooCommerce's cart and checkout with the correct pricing and gang sheet details attached.
- Click the Add to Cart button in the Gangify builder (it may be labeled differently depending on the plugin's configuration).
- Open your cart and verify the gang sheet item appears with the correct size and pricing.
- Proceed to the checkout page.
- Fill in the required checkout fields with test information.
- Complete the test order.
How do I place a test order without paying?
If WooCommerce has a test or sandbox payment mode enabled, use that. Otherwise, enable the Cash on Delivery payment method at WooCommerce > Settings > Payments. This lets you complete the order without processing a real payment.
You will cancel this test order after verifying everything works.
- After completing the order, go to WooCommerce > Orders in your admin dashboard.
- Click on the test order to open it.
- Confirm the order includes the gang sheet details, the correct size, and the uploaded artwork reference.
Order missing gang sheet details?
- Check that you selected a Gangify-specific product type (if one was available) or enabled the gang sheet builder in the product's settings tab.
- Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and confirm Gangify is still activated.
- Try placing a new test order. Some plugins only attach details when the builder is used during that specific session.
- Help me figure out why my WooCommerce order does not have gang sheet details from Gangify
Verify the order in Gangify
The final check is confirming that your WooCommerce order syncs to the Gangify platform. This is where your client's team will review artwork, process gang sheets, and send them to print.
- Log into the Gangify dashboard at app.gangify.com or through the APAS portal using your client's account credentials.
- Locate the test order you just placed.
The order should display the uploaded artwork, the correct gang sheet size and layout, and the customer details from WooCommerce.
Order not showing in Gangify?
- Go back to the Gangify plugin settings in your WordPress admin and verify the API key or account connection shows a "Connected" status.
- Check if there is a webhook or sync setting in the plugin that needs to be enabled.
- Contact Gangify support at info@supergamut.com or call 309-328-8767. Their team offers collaborative onboarding and can help diagnose sync issues.
- Help me troubleshoot why my WooCommerce order is not syncing to the Gangify dashboard
Once you confirm the order synced successfully, clean up your test data so it does not get processed as a real print job.
- Delete or cancel the test order in the Gangify dashboard.
- Go to WooCommerce > Orders in your WordPress admin and cancel or trash the test order there as well.
- If you enabled Cash on Delivery as a temporary payment method, disable it at WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.
Why clean up test orders?
Test orders left in the system can be picked up by the print workflow and waste materials. They also skew sales reports and inventory counts. Always remove test data from both WooCommerce and the Gangify dashboard before handing the site off to your client.
Secret mission
Add a Second Gang Sheet Product with Different Sizing and Pricing
Your client's store has one gang sheet product up and running. But real-world DTF businesses almost always offer multiple product tiers. Can you create a second product with larger sizes and premium pricing, then make sure both products work together in the same cart?
Before you go
Clean Up Your Resources
Decide whether to keep your resources running, pause them to come back later, or delete them entirely. This project runs on your client's existing WordPress hosting and Gangify subscription, so there are no new ongoing costs from the integration itself.
Resources you used:
- Gangify WordPress plugin (installed and activated).
- UpdraftPlus backup plugin (installed during pre-installation backup).
- WooCommerce product for gang sheet orders.
- Elementor product page layout for the gang sheet builder.
- Gangify API/account connection to the client's APAS account.
- Test order in WooCommerce and Gangify (should already be cancelled/deleted from Step 6).
Keep everything running
No action needed. Choose this if you are preparing to hand off the store to your client or if the product page is ready for live customers.
- Confirm the test order from Step 6 has been cancelled or deleted in both WooCommerce and the Gangify dashboard.
- Keep the Gangify plugin activated and the WooCommerce product published.
- Keep UpdraftPlus installed so you have ongoing backups of the site.
Pause - I'll come back to this later
Temporarily deactivate the integration so it is not visible to customers while keeping everything in place for when you return.
- Go to Products > All Products and change the gang sheet product status to Draft. This hides it from customers without deleting it.
- Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and click Deactivate under Gangify. Your settings will be preserved.
- Delete the test order from WooCommerce and the Gangify dashboard if you have not already.
- Keep UpdraftPlus installed for future backups.
Delete - I don't want to use this again
Remove all project resources and start fresh. Only choose this if you are sure you will not need the Gangify integration on this site.
- Delete the test order from both WooCommerce > Orders and the Gangify dashboard at app.gangify.com.
- Go to Products > All Products, hover over the gang sheet product, and click Trash.
- Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins, deactivate Gangify, then click Delete to remove the plugin files.
- If you installed UpdraftPlus only for this project and do not need it, deactivate and delete it from Plugins > Installed Plugins as well.
- The Gangify subscription itself is managed through your client's APAS/SuperGamut account. Removing the plugin from WordPress does not cancel the subscription.
Mission accomplished
That's a Wrap!
Nice work! You just integrated the Gangify gang sheet builder into a live WooCommerce store powered by Elementor. Your client's customers can now upload artwork, build gang sheets, and place DTF transfer orders without ever leaving the site.
Here's what you learned:
- Installed and activated a third-party WordPress plugin from a .zip file and connected it to an external platform via API configuration.
- Created a WooCommerce product configured for gang sheet ordering with size-based pricing and embedded the Gangify builder on the product page using Elementor.
- Tested the full customer flow from artwork upload through WooCommerce checkout and verified order sync between WooCommerce and the Gangify dashboard.
- Added a second gang sheet product with different sizing options and pricing tiers to support multiple product offerings in the same store.
