Join UT Austin University's Build & Brew Group

Build & Brew is NextWork's Campus Ambassador Program. Throughout the program, students learn AI, grow as leaders, and build a portfolio of hands-on projects.

At UT Austin, Sruthi leads a group of 4-8 students who meet weekly to deepen learning, grow careers, and power real projects, using AI.

Group details:

  • When: Tuesdays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM CST.
  • Where: In person at UT Austin at the Perry-Castañeda Library.
  • Format: A group of 4-8 students meets weekly throughout the semester.
  • Focus: AWS, Bedrock & resume tailoring.
  • Cost: Free.

  • Year: Second-year student at UT Austin.
  • Major: Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • Campus involvement: Longhorn Neurotech and its neurotechnology research team.
Why Sruthi leads Build & Brew

Sruthi wants students to use AI to strengthen how they learn. Her sessions focus on deeper understanding alongside practical time savings.

Learning across languages

Sruthi has studied Spanish, French, and Korean. She is currently learning Japanese.

During a semester in Seoul, she used her language skills to help her study abroad program communicate.

Away from the screen

Outside class, Sruthi plays video games and calls friends from other parts of her life. She also enjoys concerts.
